About The Event

The El Paso County 911 District's very own Law MPS Training. Mobile for Public Safety provides law enforcement personnel in the field with the tools they need to respond quickly, regardless of their location. This extension to Intergraph’s Computer-Aided Dispatch (I/CAD) makes incident, mapping, and location data available in the field, improving officers’ productivity and safety, enabling background checks at the scene, updating officer location and availability status, and reducing the amount of radio traffic in the control center.

This course is provided primarily for uniformed personnel who will use MPS on a daily basis.  However, it is beneficial information for dispatchers and supervisors to know the overall system and its capabilities.  This type of knowledge improves the dispatcher's situational awareness and assists both the dispatcher and supervisor when system issues arise. This course is geared towards the Law side of MPS.

TCOLE documentation will be made available to the Agency Training Coordinator or Administrator for outside course reporting.
